Chad Harlan & Wendy Crabtree- Harlan have been together for 14 years. They have been cruisers and have owned a Cal 31 and a Tayana 55 monohull.
They have worked in the private & charter sectors on large motor yachts, catamarans & sailboats for the past 8 years. They have sailed both coasts of the U.S., Central and South America and the Caribbean chain from the Bahamas to Trinidad & also the North Sea and the Mediterranean.
Chad has a RYA 200-ton Masters license & a US Coast Guard 100 ton Captain’s license. He has been sailing since the age of 13 on the Lakes of North Carolina.
Wendy has a Master’s in Education & worked at the University level for 7 years. She grew up on a farm in South Central Kentucky. She loves entertaining, so not only is she a delightful cook, but she is an expert drink mixologist. Wendy loves to travel and incorporates dishes that she has enjoyed in her travels into her menus.

RICH & LISA
Rich & Lisa have more than 30 years combined sailing experience. They spent years trying to make room for sailing in their busy professional lives in Providence, Rhode Island. One New England winter too many convinced them to make their passion for sailing their “priority.” They started and ran a successful Lagoon 57 charter yacht called Priorities located in the Virgin Islands for eight years.
Rich is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University and owned and operated Cassarino’s Ristorante in Providence’s “Little Italy” for 20 years.
Lisa is an accomplished florist and art/design degree holder, who owned and operated a successful, high-volume flower shop in Providence, Floral Designs by LiRog. She has 20 years experience with event and party planning.
Rich and Lisa are excited to work in rotation as your Captain/Chef and Hostess aboard Zingara.
JACQUES & CAITLIN
Jacques and Caitlin met a year ago on S/Y MITseaAH, a 156-ft. Pendenis sailing yacht that travelled the East Coast of the US. They quickly realized that their dream was to work on smaller sailing vessels as a team and they decided to make the Caribbean their home.
Jacques is from Durban, S. Africa. He worked as a marine surveyor for 4 yrs. after school then moved to London where he worked for 2 yrs. as a plumber. When he decided to go back to yachting he obtained a 200-Ton Yachtmaster and his PADI Dive Master. He has worked in yachting since 2007 as a Dive Master, 1st Mate, Sport Fisherman & Engineer. Jacques enjoys all watersports; spearfishing, snorkeling, surfing, windsurfing, wakeboarding and Hobie-Cat sailing.
Caitlin is from Vancouver, Canada. She has worked 2 years on large vessels in the Mediterranean and the East Coast of the US. Prior to her career in yachting she worked in Australia with children in the community as a Social Worker. Caitilin enjoys the duties of a stewardess, such as table decorations, silver service, hostess and entertaining children. She holds a butler’s certificate, which adds to her stewardess credentials. Caitlin enjoys snorkeling, kayaking, fishing and board games.
Jacques and Caitlin are enthusiastic about working as 1st Mate/Dive Master and Stewardess aboard Zingara.
